Rainbow Chow

Rainbow started off as an accountant in one of the big four accounting firms in Hong Kong and New York. After working in the accounting field for five years, she decided that she was more interested in working with people than numbers. She was offered a training position in the internal training department and then set up the Client Training Group in Hong Kong. She was then seconded to London where she gained exposure to million-pound projects and then became the Asia Pacific account manager for a major global training outsourcing project.

Rainbow became an independent learning consultant twelve years ago. She is an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and was a board member and Vice President of ICF Hong Kong Chapter from 2012 to 2015. She is also a licensed practitioner for the Coach U Coaching Clinic Programme.

For the past twenty plus years as learning consultant, Rainbow has continued to be passionate about partnering with executives and has strived to create positive impacts on their personal growth, through coaching sessions and development workshops. She has designed and delivered workshops in areas of top-level presentation skills, the many nuances of communication, teambuilding and coach-approach leadership at many different levels. In recent years, her primary focus is working with senior executives of clients such as banks, accounting and law firms. Rainbow has also facilitated strategic meetings for senior executives for international financial institutions, accounting firms and regulatory authorities.

Rainbow has lived and worked in the US, Europe and Asia and is now based in Hong Kong. She is an accredited practitioner of DiSC, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Herman Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), Think On Your Feet and Harrison Profile. She is a founding member of European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Asia Pacific, a practitioner for GENOS Emotional Intelligence instrument.

In her personal life, Rainbow volunteers as a mentor for her secondary schoolmates at Year 12 and above for the past ten years. She is also a volunteer coach for Red Cross, Pathfinders, Teach for Hong Kong and Asian Charity Services.

Rainbow is also a parent representative for the Learning and Professional Development Committee of her daughter’s secondary school council. She is a vocalist, recording artist and master of ceremony performing at corporate and private events.

She has joined FELIZ Consulting Company as an Associate Consultant and Coach since the early days of the company in 2017, adding value in coaching, training and facilitation.
