Workshop on Effective Communication

Held on 11 February 2018 with the fellows of Resolve Foundation’s inaugural fellowship on racial equality and inclusion

Resolve Foundation provides fellowships to emerging leaders from marginalised and underrepresented communities to empower them to be change-makers and social catalysts.

Communication is a two-way process of listening and speaking involving both verbal and non-verbal communication. Communication is crucial to being an effective spokesperson and leader in social justice work.

How do you speak in a way that others want to listen?

On 11 February 2018, Mônica conducted a workshop on the elements of effective communication which focused on developing more self-awareness on how we communicate, particularly in cross-cultural contexts.
